Youth-Led Film Screening

We’re delighted to invite you to a special screening of ‘There’s a Lot of Ambition Here’, a short film created by young people from the Whittington Park Community Centre Youth Club/Ambitious Academy through a series of workshops facilitated by Octopus Community Network. The film explores home, feelings of safety, and ideas for change in the local area.

Following on from our successful Youth Summit event in April, where local professionals came together with the young people to watch the film and discuss actions for change, those present felt the film should be shared more widely and to wider audiences. This screening is a great opportunity to watch the film and meet those involved. 

The event will also include the premiere of Ambitious Academy’s Idle Hands, created by many of the young people involved in the documentary, followed by a Q&A. 

We’d love for you to join us to watch the films, speak to the young people involved and celebrate their work.

The screening is being hosted by Collective Acting Studio, at Hornsey Road Baths, 2 Tillman Place, N7 7EE on Friday 19th June, 6 – 9pm.
