Warm Places 2025 - 2026
Octopus member Community Centres will be offering wrap-around support and activities at Warm Places over the winter months:
Brickworks Community Centre: Monday to Friday, 9am - 9pm, use of computers, free wifi
Hilldrop Community Centre: Mondays, 10am - 2.30pm, Wednesdays 10am - 12pm, Fridays 10am - 2.30pm.
Holloway Neighbourhood Group: Wednesdays, 12.30 - 3.30pm, soup and social
Mondays 9.30am - 7.30pm, share a meal together (12.30 - 2pm) and get involved in karaoke
Tuesdays 9.30am - 8.30pm, Community Cook Up (12.30 - 2pm)
Wednesdays 9.30am - 12.30pm and 3.30 - 4.30pm, free refreshments, board games and wifi
Thursdays 9.30am - 5pm, a hot bowl of ‘Grandma’s Soup’ (12.30 - 2pm)
Fridays 3 - 8.30pm, free refreshments, board games and wifi
St Luke’s Community Centre: Monday to Friday, 9am - 7pm, free drinks, wifi, use of computers, games and library
The Peel: Thursdays 10.30 - 1.30pm, hot drinks, board games, free exercise class at 11am and soup at 12pm
Whittington Park Community Centre: Monday to Friday, 11am - 4pm, hot drinks, watch TV, charge phones in the lounge space
We have worked together to create a charter which all Warm Places will work to, and the offer provided to communities will be dependent on the needs of local residents.
