Three New Islington Orchards!

We’re delighted to have three brand new orchards in the Tufnell Park Nature Neighbourhood!

After a successful series of workshops delivered with the Orchard Project, where residents came together to learn about orchards, design the three new sites, and plan for their ongoing maintenance, we held three planting days at the beginning of 2026. The orchards include apples, plums, and even pomegranates, and each are being looked after by a dedicated group of volunteers.

You can visit the orchards at Whittington Park, St George’s Open Space and the Tufnell Park Woodland Garden at the Octopus Community Plant Nursery.
