Islington Food Week

The Islington Food Partnership are excited to be bringing you the very first Islington Food Week!

We’ve been developing the Islington Food Strategy 2023 - 28, and will be celebrating its launch during Islington Food Week, from 6th - 12th March.

The Food Partnership are hosting a number of events throughout the week, including a seed sewing session at Octopus’ Community Plant Nursery. Find out more about our events, and sign up here.

Here’s what’s happening across the Octopus Network:

Monday 6th March:

Caxton House Warm Space, with light refreshments

Elizabeth House Women’s Group, with activities, soup and dessert

Tuesday 7th March:

Caxton House Crafts and Warm space, with light refreshments and takeaway hot food; pre-booking required

Whittington Park Greener Together Workshop; planning for Herbs for Happiness garden; 14.30 - 16.30

Whittington Park 55+ Social Club, with homemade lunch; £3

Elizabeth House Food Hub

Brickworks online affordable Caribbean Food Service Launch! Head over to Brickworks between 11am - 2pm for tasters

The Peel launch of the Clerkenwell Food Empowerment Initiative

Wednesday 8th March:

Caxton House Warm Space, light refreshments/takeaway pre-cooked food

Elizabeth House Blue House Club, two course meal for over 50s

Hornsey Lane Community Cook-Up; more info to follow

Whittington Park 55+ Social Club, with homemade lunch; £3
