Composting Workshops, coming soon!

Join upcoming composting workshops at the Community Plant Nursery

Throughout October we are offering two series of workshops to learn all about composting, from Hugelkultur to wormeries.

Join either the Tuesday or Saturday cohort and get a great introduction to the Octopus Community Compost Hub, how you can compost at home or in your local community, and the benefit to the food system.

Each workshop series includes:

An introduction to composting: a site tour, composting basics and an introduction to different composting methods

Composting in the garden: using compost, Hugelkultur and closed loop systems

Composting at home: Bokashi composting and wormeries.

Join the workshops either on Tuesdays 6th, 13th and 20th October, 12 - 2pm, or Saturdays 10th, 17th and 24th October, 1 - 3pm.
