Community Organising Training

We are taking bookings for our Community Organising Introduction Course

In July and August, we are offering FREE training places for Islington residents keen to make a difference in the local neighbourhood.  We are particularly keen to hear from those who want to tackle inequality, address health and wellbeing issues for people of all ages and backgrounds and want to take an active approach to achieving change.

The FREE training is being provided through the Local Wellbeing Networks programme through which three Local Wellbeing Networks are being formed in the North, Central and South areas of Islington.

Octopus will be leading the delivery of the Community Organising Training in collaboration with Voluntary Action Islington.  Octopus Community Network is an affiliated, quality assured member of the National Academy of Community Organising, the training arm of Community Organisers.  Our trainers provide Community Organising training, including an Introduction to Community Organising, Listening Skills for Community Organising, and Planning for Change through Community Organising.
