August 9, 2018 - Environmental Summer School Session 3

Join us to learn about Your Food, Your World, Your Future at this year's Environmental Summer School!

This week's session will include:

  • Seed to plate - create a food growing garden and make a scarecrow
  • Cook and eat
  • Build a wildlife habitat
  • Nature art in the park

These sessions run from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm, are FREE, and are deisgned for 5-11 year olds, but there will be opportunities for younger and older children to get involved too! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

August 16, 2018 - Environmental Summer School Session 4

This year's theme is Your Food, Your World, Your Future!

This week's session includes:

  • Save the world - recycle more
  • Bugs, bugs, bugs and snail racing
  • Learn about bees and pollinators
  • Nature art in the park

These sessions run from 10.30 am - 12.30pm, are FREE, and are deisgned for 5-11 year olds, but there will be opportunities for younger and older children to get involved too! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

August 23, 2018 - Environmental Summer School Session 5

This week will include:

  • Where am I from? Vegetable mapping and food diaries
  • Seed to plate - cook and eat
  • Woodland tree walk
  • Wildflower seed bombs
  • Nature art in the park

These sessions run from 10.30 am - 12.30pm, are FREE, and are deisgned for 5-11 year olds, but there will be opportunities for younger and older children to get involved too! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
