Get Involved!
There are plenty of ways you can get involved to create and improve your local growing areas. If you know of a growing group near you, go along and see how you can help!

We are always looking for volunteers to help out with the our different projects, whether this is sharing some gardening skills, doing some heavy lifting or meeting people on a nearby housing estate, we’d love your help. Whatever your skills we are keen to hear from you!

At the moment we are particularly keen to get people filling the roles below, so if you have a particularly interest do let us know using the form below.

Milk-float driver: we are looking for individuals with a clean driving license who can drive our Gro-Mobile (a milk float which has converted into a mobile growing classroom) to housing estates and events around Islington.

General garden volunteer: we are always looking for individuals with a little or a lot of gardening experience who can help us maintain our green spaces around Islington. This could be anything from planting out seedlings at our plant nursery to weeding a raised bed on a housing estate.

Event volunteer:  we regularly run events in parks and green spaces around Islington and are looking for volunteers who are happy to talk to members of the public or help out running workshops and activities.
