Meet the team

 

Uzma Ansari

Uzma is the newest member of the team joining as a Community Development Officer. Originally from India, in the past Uzma worked as a journalist making a career switch after moving to the UK. She has been working in the charity sector since 2009 having extensively worked with young people. She has worked within the community on various issues including homelessness, livelihood and health. Uzma has experience in monitoring and evaluation having worked on research projects in Africa and Asia.

Uzma is dedicated in promoting participatory and sustainable development. She wants to work towards helping everybody achieve their entitlements as citizens and have access to resources as well as overcome prejudice.
